GreenTeam - Campaign for the European Football Championship

Co2online is an independent advisory platform for climate protection. To coincide with the UEFA EURO 2024, co2online has launched the GreenTeam. A project that aims to draw the attention of new target groups to the services offered by co2online.de. The starting point of our collaboration was the development of the campaign design. The heart of the project is the campaign website. It uses concrete tips to show how soccer and climate protection can be combined: zum Case.

Challenge

When we are asked to design a campaign, it is often necessary to retain elements from the existing corporate design and at the same time develop an independent campaign design. This was also our brief for the GreenTeam: the design had to fit in with the rest and at the same time stand out. The design had to playfully combine the topic of climate protection with the theme of soccer. No problem! Our leitmotif of the tactics board is not only essential for successful soccer careers, but also for our design. We incorporated dynamic elements from the world of soccer into the logo development, the color and shape as well as the tonality and combined them into a striking and uniform campaign design.

Brand communication

When it comes to design and text, we always have our target groups in mind. For the fans of UEFA EURO 2024, we chose a personal approach, using intelligent soccer metaphors and hidden references to prominent soccer events.

The element of the tactics board forms the starting point for the logo development and the arrangement of playful elements. An organic illustration style ensures dynamics and contemporary design and creates a world of its own that also functions independently of co2online.de. The color palette is based on the color world of co2online.de and was supplemented by the new sporty green tone 'Greengreen'.
